Photography
Overarching approach
Photography brings the brand to life through real people, real work, and genuine moments of progress.
General guidelines
Authentic
Choose images of Members or coaches over stock. If stock is necessary, it should still feel natural and believable, not overly staged or artificial.
Use natural lighting when possible
Avoid harsh, overly dramatic lighting or heavy filters.
Prioritize clarity over style
Images should support the message and be easy to understand at a glance.
Avoid exaggerated emotion
Expressions should feel subtle and genuine, not overly enthusiastic or forced.
Be mindful of composition
Keep subjects clear and avoid cluttered or distracting backgrounds.
Reflect real environments
Use settings that feel right for the piece.
Use diversity naturally
Represent a range of people and experiences in an authentic, non-performative way.
Secure consent
Always obtain signed consent forms/waivers (model releases) for people being photographed.
Photography / Image creation
Images should feel natural and grounded, reinforcing trust and clarity without overpowering the message.
