Technical standards

Formal, public-facing contexts such as headshots, leadership imagery, and PR materials should convey professionalism, credibility, and confidence while remaining approachable. Clean, composed imagery ensures the brand is represented with clarity, consistency, and authority. These standards apply across all Buffini video production. Consistency in format, audio, and delivery ensures that content holds up across every platform and every context.

General guidelines

Canvas and aspect ratios

Default resolution is 1920x1080. 4K is available for Buffini Coaching LIVE broadcasts at Worre Studios, in Las Vegas. For aspect ratios: 16:9 is standard for broadcast, event, training, and Good Life Stories. 9:16 for social vertical formats. 1:1 for square social placements. 3:4 when specifically requested for social. Shoot with the intended format in mind. Do not reframe 16:9 footage into a vertical format after the fact unless absolutely necessary.

Export and delivery

Standard export format is H.264. Use the Match Source - Adaptive High Bitrate preset for most deliverables. Sequence frame rate should match the main footage. Default resolution is 1920x1080 unless otherwise specified.

ProRes is reserved for event video. Platform-specific delivery specs take precedence for social and broadcast submissions.

Color

A color pass is required on all video before delivery. Footage should be color corrected for consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment. Do not deliver raw or uncorrected footage as a final asset.

Audio

Clean, balanced audio is non-negotiable across all formats. Target -12dB as the industry standard across all platforms and deliverables.

Motion graphics and lower thirds

Use current brand templates for all lower thirds, titles, and animated elements. Templates are built to the updated brand standards and should not be modified. If a template does not exist for a specific need, consult the Creative Team before building a custom solution.

Safe zones

Observe safe zone guidelines for all text and graphic elements. For broadcast and event video, use the safe zone margins established in the multimedia grid. For social formats, account for platform UI elements that may obscure edges of the frame.

File naming and storage

Follow the current file naming SOP for all video assets. Final deliverables go to the designated output folder before sharing or publishing.
